About the Program

At the outset and with immense pleasure, we take this opportunity to inform that Indo German Institute of Advanced technology (IGIAT), Visakhapatnam entered into a MoA with M/s. Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), Hyderabad on 26th December 2017. This agreement was made to implement Job Oriented Skill Development Training Programmes for 200 unemployed youths belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women and EWS of the society under the CSR initiatives of M/s Bharat Dynamics Limited, Hyderabad.

We are very grateful and sincerely convey our gratitude to M/s. Bharat Dynamics Limited for their support to the youth of under privileged society through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in providing sustainable livelihood through this Skill Development Programme.

BDL extends CSR support for Rs. 50.18 lakhs to Indo-German Institute of Advanced Technology (IGIAT), Vishakhapatnam for the project "to set up of 05 numbers of Digital Labs (Class Rooms) at IGIAT, Visakhapatnam" under CSR initiatives of Bharat Dynamics Ltd., Hyderabad.

The main objective of the project is "as India is heading towards complete digitalization, computer literacy among the jobseekers and unemployed youths needs a focused training in attaining the outcomes. Many of these beneficiaries are poor and unemployed youth who have no access for a purposeful and meaningful training in skill development in technical and computer related courses.
