About the Program

It has been widely reported that students of today need to be better prepared for the workplace than ever. With today’s rapidly changing pace of the job market, students need to keep abreast of new knowledge and technology in order to be ahead of the curve.

While the student will have much to gain from industrial placement, the same is also true for IGIAT which have such training programmes in place. These programmes can be of mutual benefit for employers because they may benefit from the quality of support, fresh ideas and energy that the student brings into the work environment.

In this endeavor, Power Finance Corporation has directed its efforts and initiatives under “Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative” to extend to the youth, some add-on programmes of appropriate training, leading to their empowerment helping them to make a niche for themselves in the society.

In continuation to our previous endeavours with Power Finance Corporation in implementing & executing Skill Development Training & Placement Program through their CSR initiatives, we have been awarded with a work order to conduct a similar training program for the financial year 2016 – 2017. Under this work order it has been mandated to provide skill development training & placement program for a total of 900 unemployed youths belonging to the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Odisa, Karnataka and Chattisgarh.
